There`s blood amongst the roses in this cozy mystery debut by a prize-winning member of the American Rose Society. Architect Alex Sheppard and his wife, avid gardener Kate, are strolling through the garden of their newly purchased home when they come across a rosebush with bright blue roses, a plant believed to be merely the stuff of legend. Although the Sheppards attempt to keep their discovery quiet, they`re soon besieged by a variety of people who would stoop to anything to get their hands on the blue rose--even kill.
