Melina Lloyd's identical twin sister, Gillian, is brutally murdered, after an evening spent subbing for Melina as the official Dallas escort of the astronaut Colonel Christopher Hart. When the police prove inept, Hart joins Melina in a quest for the truth. Soon, the two are heading down a dangerous road that leads to a demented power-mad maniac who has picked out his second victim: the identical twin of his first.
