The Forgotten Man
LA private investigator Elvis Cole searches for the key to his own past in this 10th installment in the series starring the so-called World's Greatest Detective. A man with no ID, dying of a gunshot wound in an alley, tells the cop who finds him that he's Elvis Cole's father. Elvis can't verify this because he never knew the man who impregnated his mentally ill mother, but he commences on a postmortem investigation, hoping to ferret out the man's identity and discover if what he said is true. Meanwhile, Elvis is being tracked down himself--by a disturbed pump jockey who thinks Elvis murdered his missing boss.
