While camping in the woods, 12-year-old Matt and his best friend Parker find a dead body in a lake. After a bit of detective work, the boys think they know who did the murderous deed: local antique dealer George Evans, who just happens to be the new boyfriend of Parker's mom. Will Matt and Parker be able to prove what they suspect before the killer adds them to his list of victims?
