An Invisible Woman

A formerly well-to-do New York socialite on the lam quickly discovers how the other half lives and uses this newfound knowledge to her advantage in this debut by the wife of bestselling author Whitley Streiber. Not long after Kealy Ryerson receives a shocking phone call from her lawyer husband telling her to flee, he's murdered, her assets are frozen, and Kealy becomes wanted by the police. She and her two prep school children must go on the run while they attempt to find out who killed Jimmy Ryerson and why. Fortunately, the lack of her customary couture and cosmetics serve as an effective disguise, allowing Kealy to become effectively invisible as she searches for answers.
