After recovering from a nearly fatal accident, Joanna Flynn begins awakening in the morning feeling that she has left something undone. When two strangers call her Caroline on a city street, she investigates and discovers that a woman by that name died on the same day that Joanna narrowly escaped death. And she looked enough like Joanna to be her twin.
