Anna Batory roams the streets of Los Angeles with a video crew looking for stories to videotape and sell to news stations for the highest bidder. Needless to say, it doesn't take long before she finds herself knee deep in murder. A high school student commits suicide and the following morning one of her crew members is found savagely murdered. After falling for ex-cop Jake Harper, the dead student's father, Anna teams up with Jake to uncover the murky connection between the crimes.
