This 15th entry in the PREY series mixes police procedural with Russian--and Soviet--espionage. Lucas Davenport faces his second case as a crime troubleshooter for the state of Minnesota, teaming up with a Russian cop (or is she a Russian spy?) to solve the murder of an ex-KGB agent, found dead near Lake Superior with three 50-year-old bullets in his body.
