Enemy Within

New York City's Chief Assistant District Attorney Butch Karp lands in hot water when a municipal scandal raises questions about the propriety with which the city has been administering the death penalty. Meanwhile (it being the late'90s), his wife is becoming a victim of stock-option madness, and his teenaged daughter may be the target of a serial killer. Author Tanenbaum weaves the various plotlines together in surprising ways.
